In the morning, we pick you up from your hotel in Addis Ababa for a scenic two-hour drive to Weliso. Upon arrival, check in at the beautiful Negash Lodge, where a delicious lunch awaits. In the afternoon, you may choose to explore the lush surroundings by walking, biking, or horseback riding, or simply relax and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. The lodge’s gardens are home to playful monkeys and colorful birds, and on weekends, you can enjoy a refreshing swim in the natural hot spring pool. Overnight stay at Negash Lodge.

From Weliso to the Scenic Wonders of Wenchi Crater Lake and Back to Addis Ababa

After breakfast, drive about an hour to reach the breathtaking Wenchi Crater Lake. Choose from scenic hikes (1.5–5 hours) or ride a horse to descend into the crater. Once at the lakeshore, enjoy a peaceful boat ride to the monastery island and take in the stunning views. A picnic lunch will be served in a serene natural setting. By mid-afternoon, we begin the return journey, arriving in Addis Ababa around sunset, where you will be dropped off at your hotel.
