Today is the highlight for kids and adults alike, a descent into the Ngorongoro Crater, a place where it feels like every African animal lives together in one giant “zoo without fences.”
Lions rest in the grass, hippos splash in the pools, and lucky families may even spot the rare black rhino. Your guide makes it educational and fun, explaining animal behaviors in simple, engaging ways.
After a picnic lunch near a hippo pool, there’s time for more wildlife viewing before heading out of the crater. In the afternoon, you’ll travel to Arusha for your flight back to Zanzibar. Children can enjoy one last chance to spot animals on the way.
