The most famous animal sanctuary in the world is unquestionably Serengeti National Park because of its unmatched natural beauty and scientific relevance. The greatest concentration of plains game in Africa can be found there.

The migration is arguably the most well-known feature of the Serengeti. In quest of the brief rains, a million wildebeest and over 200,000 zebras travel south from the northern hills to the southern plains every October and November.

The scenic drive takes about two hours, passing through the diverse and dramatic landscapes of the Great Rift Valley.

Lake Ndutu, an alkaline lake like many in the region, attracts a rich variety of wildlife throughout the year. After enjoying lunch, you’ll embark on a game drive across the Ndutu plains, where the Great Migration is typically found from December to March. Following an exciting afternoon of wildlife viewing, you’ll head to your lodge for dinner and a restful overnight stay.

Southern Serengeti( Ndutu) Calving Season

After a hearty breakfast, we set out for a full-day game drive in the Ndutu region, exploring its diverse habitats—ranging from swamps and woodlands to soda lakes and the iconic Serengeti short-grass plains. This area offers front-row seats to the spectacular Great Migration, where vast herds of wildebeest and zebras fill the landscape. Around January, a remarkable event unfolds: in just a few weeks, nearly half a million wildebeest calves are born in a synchronized birthing, a powerful display of nature’s rhythm. With little cover on the open plains, newborns must stand and run within minutes, and within days, they’re strong enough to move with the herd—an incredible survival strategy. After a thrilling day immersed in wildlife and sweeping views of the ‘Endless Plains,’ we return to your lodge for dinner and a restful overnight stay.

A UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Crater spans 304 sq km and supports about 25,000 large animals. After taking in stunning views from the rim, we descend into the Crater for a game drive and picnic lunch, where you may see elephants, wildebeest, zebras, gazelles, and even the rare black rhino. After an unforgettable afternoon of wildlife viewing, we head to Arusha City or Arusha Airport, depending on your preference, marking the end of your incredible safari. We hope you’ve had a memorable experience and look forward to welcoming you again.
