From Zanzibar to the land of African elephants

From Zanzibar to the land of African elephants

Your adventure begins with an early 5:00 am pickup from your hotel in Zanzibar and transfer to Abeid Amani Karume International Airport. Upon arrival in Arusha at 9:20 am, you’ll be warmly welcomed by our professional guide, who will give you a short briefing before setting off on a 2-hour drive to Tarangire National Park.

The journey offers stunning views of open grasslands scattered with majestic baobab trees, traditional Maasai villages, and herds of livestock tended by nomadic communities.

Tarangire National Park is famous for its ancient baobabs, tree-climbing pythons and its remarkable wildlife, including the largest population of African elephants, along with lions, leopards, and cheetahs.

After a picnic lunch, you’ll continue with an afternoon game drive before heading to the beautiful Kankari Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

After an early breakfast, we’ll depart from Kankari Lodge and drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. From there, we’ll descend 600 meters into the crater for our final game drive.

This breathtaking natural wonder is home to nearly every species of wildlife found in East Africa, including the elusive black rhino, spotting one would be a true highlight of the journey.

Lunch will be enjoyed at the crater floor, near a hippo pool, before we take our last photos and begin the drive back to Arusha Airport for your evening flight to Zanzibar.
