Ivory Moon Arrival & Blue Canyon Sunset Drive

Take a morning flight from Cape Town to Hoedspruit Airport (included at a fixed rate, subject to change at booking). After arrival, transfer to Ivory Moon Lodge and settle into your luxury accommodation.

Lunch will be served at 13:30, followed by a 3-hour sunset drive in the Blue Canyon Reserve at 15:00, complete with sundowners and snacks. Return to Ivory Moon Lodge between 19:00 and 19:30 for dinner.

Full-Day Kruger Safari

Wake at 05:00 for a full-day safari into the Kruger National Park’s Satara-Orpen region, one of the highest lion concentration areas in Africa. Depart early with a packed bush breakfast, or depart later after breakfast at the lodge. Bottled water is provided.

At 17:30, return to camp with time to relax before dinner by the fire.

Full-Day Panorama Route Tour

At 08:30, you will depart for a full-day Panorama Route tour and discover the Drakensberg escarpment, Blyde River Canyon, Bourke’s Luck Potholes, God’s Window, and more.

You will return to the lodge at 16:30 to relax and enjoy a delicious dinner. Afterwards, enjoy a 1-hour night drive in the lovely Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate. Return to the lodge at 21:00 for a toast of Amarula by the fire, soaking in the sounds of the African night.

Optional: Guests can choose to replace the Panorama Route tour with another full-day Kruger National Park safari for more Big 5 viewing opportunities (subject to availability, no extra cost). Please request this option at the time of booking.

Final Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate Bush Walk & Return to Johannesburg

Begin your final morning at 06:00 with a 1.5-hour guided bushwalk in the Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate. Explore the bush on foot while spotting zebras, impalas, kudus, and learning about local tracks, plants, and insects from your guide.

At 07:30, return to Ivory Moon Lodge for breakfast on the viewing deck, surrounded by the peaceful sounds of the bush. Check out at 10:30 and transfer to Johannesburg International Airport, arriving between 17:00 and 18:00.

– Replace the bushwalk with a 3-hour sunrise safari in a Big 5 private reserve (additional cost, booking required).
