Arusha to Tarangire national park

Arusha, known as Tanzania’s safari capital, is a lively city at the heart of the country’s tourism scene. Upon your arrival—either in Arusha or at Arusha Airport—your professional driver-guide will greet you and begin the journey toward Tarangire National Park. Named after the life-giving Tarangire River that winds through its landscape, the park is a haven for wildlife, especially during the dry season. It's famous for its large herds of elephants, rich birdlife, and genuine, off-the-beaten-path safari feel. Midday, you’ll pause to enjoy a packed lunch surrounded by nature. After an exciting afternoon game drive, you’ll make your way to Suricata Boma Lodge for the evening.

Ngorongoro Crater

Start your day early to make the most of your descent into the legendary Ngorongoro Crater. As you enter the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, you’ll be immediately struck by the stunning scenery. From the rim, the view of the vast crater floor is truly awe-inspiring—a natural wonder carved from a long-extinct volcano over three million years ago. Spanning approximately 20 kilometers in diameter, it’s the largest intact volcanic caldera on Earth. The crater’s enclosed ecosystem forms a natural sanctuary for an incredible variety of wildlife. This is one of the best places to spot Africa’s iconic Big Five, including the elusive black rhino. Keep your eyes peeled for hyenas, zebras, elephants, and buffalo as well—each adding to the magic of this unique safari setting. After a thrilling day of wildlife viewing, you'll return to Suricata Boma Lodge for a relaxing and well-earned evening of rest.
