Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve- Afternoon game drive

Your safari begins early in the morning with a pick-up from either your Nairobi hotel or the airport by a company representative, who will introduce you to your driver/guide and brief you on the journey. You’ll depart Nairobi at 7:00 am, heading south with a brief stop at the Great Rift Valley Viewpoint for scenic photos. You'll arrive in the Masai Mara in time for lunch at Jambo Mara Safari Lodge, your accommodation for the next two nights. After lunch and a short rest, you’ll head out for an evening game drive from 4:00 to 6:30 pm. The Masai Mara is a year-round safari destination renowned for its large populations of lions, elephants, giraffes, and more—plus, from July to October, the iconic wildebeest migration crosses through the park.

Exploring Masai Mara & Chasing the Big Five

After an early breakfast at 6:30 am, you’ll depart the lodge by 7:00 am with packed picnic lunch for a full-day game drive across the vast plains of the Masai Mara. You'll be on the lookout for a wide variety of wildlife including lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, rhinos, buffalo, zebras, wildebeest, and countless antelope species such as impalas, topis, and gazelles. The park is also home to hippos and crocodiles near the Mara River, and an incredible range of birdlife—from ostriches and storks to falcons and kingfishers. Your day ends back at Jambo Mara Safari Loge for dinner and overnight stay.

Scenic transfer to Lake Naivasha

You'll wake up early again to enjoy breakfast at 6:00 am, then check out and depart Masai Mara for Lake Naivasha, a scenic freshwater lake nestled in the Great Rift Valley. The drive takes several hours, and you’ll arrive in time for lunch at Lake Naivasha Resort. After lunch, you can relax or head out to optional Crescent Island Game Sanctuary for a unique walking safari among zebras, giraffes, and antelopes at an additional cost. Alternatively, you may opt for a peaceful free boat ride on the lake to see hippos and birds, or visit Hell's Gate National Park for an optional bike ride among dramatic gorges and geothermal features at an additional cost.

Lake Naivasha to Amboseli National Park

After an early breakfast, you’ll depart Lake Naivasha and head south to Amboseli National Park, famously known as “The Royal Court of Kilimanjaro” due to its postcard-perfect views of Africa’s highest mountain. You’ll arrive at Hunter Luxury Manor in time for lunch, after which you'll have time to relax before heading out for an evening game drive at 4:00 pm. Amboseli is especially known for its large herds of free-ranging elephants, but you may also spot buffalo, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and lions. You’ll return to the lodge around 6:30 pm for dinner and overnight.

Farewell to the wild- transfer back to Nairobi City

Your final day begins with an early morning game drive to catch predators on the hunt and witness the sunrise over Mount Kilimanjaro. After the drive, return to the lodge for a full breakfast, then check out and begin your journey back to Nairobi. There will be a short stop at Emali town for a break and lunch. You’ll arrive in Nairobi later in the afternoon, where you’ll be dropped off either at your hotel or at the airport, bringing an end to your unforgettable Kenyan safari adventure.
