Fly from Nairobi to Masai Mara- Game Drive and Sundowner

Your adventure begins with an early morning pick-up from your hotel in Nairobi. You’ll be transferred to Wilson Airport in time for your scheduled flight to the Masai Mara. Enjoy stunning aerial views of the Great Rift Valley and the sweeping savannahs as you make your way to one of Africa’s most iconic wildlife destinations. Upon arrival at the Mara airstrip, you’ll be warmly welcomed by your guide and immediately begin your first game drive. This full-day experience offers incredible opportunities to spot the Big Five, along with an array of other wildlife in their natural habitat. A picnic lunch will be served in the bush, allowing you to soak in the scenery. At around 4:00 PM, you’ll arrive at Spirit of the Masai Mara, where you’ll check into your luxurious suite. As the day winds down, enjoy a scenic sundowner before heading to the lodge’s restaurant for a delightful dinner under the African skies.

After breakfast, head out on a full-day game drive, offering extended opportunities for wildlife sightings across various regions of the reserve. A packed lunch will be provided so you can make the most of your time in the bush without returning to the lodge. In the afternoon, take part in a guided walking safari along the Mara River, led by a professional armed ranger. This immersive activity provides a closer look at the ecosystem — ideal for spotting animal tracks, birdlife, and the smaller wonders of the savannah often overlooked during game drives. In the late afternoon, return to the lodge to relax after a rewarding day of exploration. After dinner, venture out once again for a night game drive, where you may encounter elusive nocturnal species and witness the bush come alive under the stars.

Before heading to the airstrip, take a guided visit to a local Maasai Village, where you’ll learn about the traditional way of life, culture, and customs of the Maasai people. This enriching cultural experience offers insight into one of Kenya’s most iconic communities. After the visit, you’ll be transferred to the airstrip for your return flight to Nairobi. Upon arrival at Wilson Airport, you’ll be picked up and treated to a complimentary lunch at the iconic Carnivore Restaurant, known for its variety of meats and vibrant atmosphere. After lunch, you’ll be dropped off at your Nairobi hotel or the airport, marking the end of an unforgettable safari.
