Day 1

Your safari begins with a pick-up from Arusha Airport upon arrival or from your hotel in Arusha, followed by a short safari briefing from your professional guide. You will then depart for Tarangire National Park, enjoying a scenic drive through the Maasai plains and picturesque Tanzanian countryside. Upon arrival, begin an exciting game drive through a landscape of ancient baobab trees, open savannas, and the wildlife-rich Tarangire River. The park is renowned for its large elephant herds and offers excellent opportunities to spot lions, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, wildebeests, and numerous bird species. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park before continuing your afternoon wildlife adventure. Later, drive to Moonbow Lodgein Karatu, a beautiful luxury retreat surrounded by lush gardens and rolling highland scenery. Home of the Big Five - Ngorongoro Crater

After an early breakfast at Moonbow Lodge, depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, enjoying a scenic drive through the lush highlands of Karatu. Upon arrival, your guide will complete the park registration before descending 600 meters into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa's finest wildlife destinations. Spend the day exploring the crater floor on an exciting game drive, where you may encounter the Big Five, including the endangered black rhino, as well as lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, zebras, wildebeests, hyenas, and vibrant flamingos around the soda lake. Enjoy a picnic lunch at the scenic Hippo Pool before continuing your wildlife adventure. In the late afternoon, ascend the crater and return to Moonbow Lodge, where you can relax in the tranquil surroundings, enjoy a delicious dinner, and spend another comfortable night in the beautiful Karatu highlands.

After breakfast at Moonbow Lodge, depart for Lake Manyara National Park, a short scenic drive through the beautiful Great Rift Valley. Upon arrival, begin an exciting game drive through the park's diverse habitats, including lush groundwater forests, open grasslands, acacia woodlands, and the alkaline lake. Keep an eye out for elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, hippos, large troops of baboons, blue monkeys, and, with a bit of luck, the famous tree-climbing lions. The park is also a paradise for bird lovers, with hundreds of species including flamingos, pelicans, storks, and fish eagles. Enjoy a picnic lunch at a designated site before continuing your afternoon wildlife viewing. Later, leave the park and drive back to Arusha, where you will check in at the elegant Mount Meru Hotel. Relax and enjoy the hotel's excellent facilities before a delicious dinner and a comfortable overnight stay.

After an early breakfast at Mount Meru Hotel, depart for Mount Kilimanjaro National Park, where you'll arrive at Marangu Gate, the starting point of the famous Marangu Route. After completing the park registration, begin a guided day hike through the lush montane rainforest, home to towering trees, colorful wildflowers, and playful black-and-white colobus monkeys. Enjoy the fresh mountain air as your guide shares fascinating information about Kilimanjaro's unique ecosystem. Continue to Mandara Hut (2,700 m / 8,858 ft), where you'll stop for a packed picnic lunch before taking a short walk to the scenic Maundi Crater, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding landscapes on a clear day. After taking in the spectacular scenery, descend back to Marangu Gate, where your safari guide will be waiting. You will then be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport or your preferred location in Arusha, marking the end of your unforgettable Tanzanian adventure.
