Day 1

Your safari begins after breakfast with a pick-up from your hotel in Arusha. You’ll drive about 2 hours to Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s hidden gems known for its large elephant herds, iconic baobab trees, and open savannah landscapes. Tarangire is especially rich in wildlife during the dry season when animals gather at the Tarangire River.
Enjoy a game drive until late afternoon, with a picnic lunch inside the park. You may spot lions, zebras, giraffes, wildebeest, warthogs, and many bird species.
After the game drive, continue to Mto wa Mbu town, where you'll set up camp at a public campsite near Lake Manyara. Your guide and cook will help prepare dinner as you relax by the campfire.

Day 2
Ngorongoro Crater – Mto wa Mbu

Wake up early for breakfast and head to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. After registration, descend into the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater, the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera and one of the best places in Africa to see the Big Five (lion, leopard, rhino, elephant, and buffalo) in one place.
The crater floor is rich with wildlife, and you'll have a half-day game drive, stopping for a picnic lunch near a hippo pool. You might also see hyenas, jackals, flamingos, and possibly rare black rhinos.
After exploring the crater, drive back to Mto wa Mbu in the afternoon. Enjoy a warm dinner and another night under the stars at your campsite.

Day 3
Lake Manyara National Park – Return to Arusha
Lake Manyara National Park – Return to Arusha
After breakfast, drive a short distance to Lake Manyara National Park. Although small, the park is incredibly diverse — featuring forests, open grasslands, acacia woodland, and the soda lake itself.
Enjoy a game drive with chances to see tree-climbing lions, large troops of baboons, hippos, flamingos, and other birdlife. It’s a perfect way to wind down your safari.
After lunch (picnic or hot), you’ll begin your return journey to Arusha, arriving in the late afternoon — marking the end of your unforgettable 3-day camping adventure.
