Arrival/Visit Kigali Genocide Memorial and Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

Morning: Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, you will be assisted with all the immigration procedures and collection of your luggage before meeting with your driver guide.

You have an option to have breakfast at a recommended restaurant (extra cost) before visiting the Kigali Genocide Memorial Center. The visit takes an approximate of 2 hours then proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest via Cyanika Boarder.

Gorilla Trekking Experience

An early rise followed by breakfast before proceeding to the park offices in Rushaga sector where you will receive briefing, allocation of the gorilla family as well as introduction to your park guide and ranger.

Ensure to carry enough water and snacks in your back packs because sometimes the treks might take longer depending on the gorilla movements. There's an option to visit the Batwa community on this evening if you still feel energetic (extra cost).

On this day, you will check out and settle any extras before transferring back to Kigali via Cyanika Boarder. If you have a late flight you will have a chance to do some last minute shopping in the city center before proceeding to Kigali International Airport for departure.
