We will make our way into the central park area, known as the Seronera, which is one of the richest wildlife habitats in the Serengeti. It features the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source to the area and therefore attracts a variety of wildlife.

Embark on an early morning game drive to increase your chances of spotting lionesses and their cabs taking breakfast.

The Sogore River Circuit, which loops into the plains south of the Seronera River, provides great viewing of lions, Thomson gazelle, topi, ostrich, and cheetah. You will eat a relaxing picnic lunch at the center under the shade of the giant acacia trees.

We will stop at the Olduvai Gorge, which boasts a history dating back to the dawn of time. It was here that the anthropologists Dr. Lois and Mary Leakey discovered the skulls of ‘Nutcracker Man’ and ‘Handy Man’, both very significant links in the chain of human evolution (museum fee $30 for this sightseeing is payable direct by those who are interested, as it is optional).
