Nairobi – Maasai Mara National Reserve

Depart Nairobi in the morning and drive through the Great Rift Valley to Maasai Mara, arriving for lunch at Olailepo Mara Camp. After check-in and a short rest, head out for your first afternoon game drive. The Mara is teeming with wildlife — elephants graze in the open plains, giraffes move gracefully among the acacias, and prides of lions often lounge in the shade. As the sun sets, watch the golden light wash over herds of wildebeest and zebras scattered across the savannah. Return to camp for dinner and overnight.

Hot Air Balloon Safari & Full-Day Game Drive

Before dawn, transfer to the launch site for your hot air balloon safari. Drift silently above the plains as the sunrise reveals elephants, giraffes, antelopes, and perhaps even a lion hunt from an unmatched aerial view. Upon landing, enjoy a champagne bush breakfast in the wild.

Later, set out for a full-day game drive with picnic lunch. Your guide will take you deeper into the reserve — along the Mara River, where hippos wallow and crocodiles lurk; across the open plains where cheetahs chase gazelles; and into wooded areas where leopards may be spotted. Expect close encounters with buffalo, wildebeest, and if lucky, all members of the Big Five. Return in the evening to Olailepo Mara Camp for dinner and overnight.
