Nairobi to Amboseli National Park

Your safari begins in Nairobi, with pick-up from the airport or your chosen location. In the early morning, you’ll set off on a scenic 4–5 hour drive to Amboseli National Park, arriving at Amboseli Sopa Lodge in time for lunch.

In the afternoon, head out for your first game drive across the park’s open plains. Amboseli is world-famous for its large elephant herds, often seen alongside zebras, antelopes, and other grazers. Keep your eyes open for predators too—lions and other big cats are frequently sighted here.

A highlight of the park is the spectacular backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro. As the sun sets, the snow-capped peak framed against the golden sky creates unforgettable photo opportunities.

After the adventure, return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay, resting up for the next day’s safari experiences.

Amboseli NP to Nairobi

On your final day, enjoy breakfast before checking out and beginning your return journey to Nairobi. As you leave Amboseli, you’ll enjoy an en-route game drive, offering one last chance to spot elephants, big cats, or grazing herds against the backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro. After capturing a few farewell photos, your guide will drive you back to Nairobi. Depending on your plans, you’ll either be dropped off at the airport for your outbound flight or at your preferred location within the city.
