Dar es Salaam – Train to Morogoro – Transfer to Mikumi

Morning departure by SGR train from Dar es Salaam to Morogoro (enjoy the scenic landscapes).
Pick-up at Morogoro railway station by your safari driver-guide.
Transfer to Mikumi National Park (about 2 hours by road).
Arrive at your lodge for check-in and lunch.
Afternoon game drive inside Mikumi: elephants, giraffes, wildebeest, buffalo, and zebras are common sightings.
Dinner and overnight at a family-friendly Mikumi Vuma Hill Tented inside or near the park.

Early breakfast, then a full-day game drive with picnic lunch in the bush.
Explore the Mkata floodplains — the “Serengeti of the South” — ideal for spotting predators like lions and hyenas.

Return to Mikumi Vuma Hill Tented for dinner and overnight.
