Arusha airport to Tarangire national park

Upon arrival at Arusha Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your professional safari guide and begin your journey to Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania's most scenic wildlife destinations.

Famous for its impressive elephant population, towering baobab trees, and the life-giving Tarangire River, the park offers excellent game viewing throughout the year. Enjoy an exciting game drive as you search for elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffalo, impalas, warthogs, and numerous bird species.

A picnic hot lunch will be served inside the park, allowing you to relax while surrounded by the beauty of the African wilderness. Moonbowl lodge to Ngorongoro Crater

After an early breakfast, depart for the magnificent Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

Before descending into the famous Ngorongoro Crater, enjoy a visit to a traditional Maasai Boma, where you'll experience the unique culture, customs, traditional dances, and lifestyle of the Maasai people. Continue into the crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site often referred to as Africa's "Garden of Eden." Home to an extraordinary concentration of wildlife, the crater offers opportunities to see elephants, lions, buffalo, zebras, hippos, hyenas, flamingos, and, with a little luck, the endangered black rhino.

Enjoy a picnic lunch beside the scenic hippo pool before continuing your afternoon game drive across the crater floor. Later, ascend the crater rim and return to Moonbow Lodge for dinner and a relaxing overnight stay.
