Rise early for a final morning game drive in Ndutu, where predator-prey interactions are at their peak during the calving season. With luck, you may witness a thrilling chase, a tender birth, or a lioness leading her cubs through the plains.
Later, begin your transfer game drive back into the Ngorongoro Highlands, ascending into cooler air and forested slopes. Arrive at your lodge in the late afternoon, where you can relax with warm hospitality and sweeping views of the volcanic landscape.

Today begins with an early descent into the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most wildlife-dense locations in Africa. Explore the crater floor on a guided game drive, seeking out lions, buffalos, elephants, flamingos, and — if fortune favors you — the rare black rhino.
After a picnic lunch by a hippo pool, begin your journey back to Arusha Airport for your scheduled afternoon flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival, a private transfer will return you to your hotel — closing your journey with memories that will last a lifetime.
