Embark on an exciting 5 Day Tanzania Safari that kicks off in Arusha, where we’ll pick you up from your pre-safari lodging. Initially, your safari guide shares insights about the thrilling journey that lies ahead and what to anticipate, before you embark on the adventure. We journey west and then south, stepping into the vibrant and wildlife-abundant area of Tanzania known as the Northern Safari Circuit.
Tarangire is home to a vibrant mix of wildlife, featuring majestic lions and powerful buffalos, alongside a variety of antelopes, wildebeest, graceful giraffes, and striking zebras. The national park spans approximately 2600km² of untamed land, featuring rolling plains adorned with baobab and acacia trees. After our wildlife safari in Tarangire National Park, we embark on our first overnight stay at a tented safari lodge just a short drive from the park.

Our journey leads us northwest, venturing into the captivating Rift Valley and the vast Serengeti Park. As we journey onward, we traverse the vibrant village of Mto Wa Mbu and the lively town of Karatu nestled in the refreshing crater highlands.

Upon arriving at the entrance gate to Serengeti National Park, you can embark on a brief stroll to the viewpoint that offers a breathtaking panorama of the undulating Serengeti plains. Then we venture into Serengeti Park and journey towards the Seronera area, located in the heart of this renowned wildlife park. The journey of exploration kicks off the moment we step into the national park.

During and after the rainy seasons, you might just find yourself witnessing the Great Migration in all its breathtaking glory. Typically, from October to November and again from April to June, vast herds of plains game traverse the rivers and open landscapes of the Serengeti ecosystem. Each year, a breathtaking spectacle unfolds as countless herbivores, primarily wildebeest, gazelles, and zebras, embark on a remarkable journey between Masai Mara and the Serengeti, following a time-honored path. The migration captivates the numerous predators of Serengeti, lured by the effortless opportunity presented by the wandering herds. The timing and route of the Great Migration shift with the seasons, yet your safari guide expertly navigates to the best locations to witness this breathtaking event.

Day four begins with a hearty breakfast at the safari camp, as the sun makes its grand entrance. Next, we embark on an exhilarating game drive through Serengeti Park as we exit the national park, pausing to savor a delightful picnic lunch along the way. Stay alert for wildlife, particularly during the early morning when creatures and birds are bustling with energy. Next, we embark on a journey to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, a place teeming with an incredible array of wildlife in Africa.

Following an exhilarating game drive in this World Heritage Site, we venture out of the crater through a different path. On the last evening of our budget Tanzania Safari, we find ourselves at one of the perfectly situated Tanganyika Wilderness Adventure Lodges. Nestled near a coffee estate, just a half-hour from the entrance of the Ngorongoro Crater Conservation Area, the lodges provide stunning vistas of the vibrant crater highlands.
