Zanzibar to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, your driver will transfer you to the airport for your flight to Arusha. Upon arrival, you will be met by your professional driver-guide and begin the journey to Tarangire National Park. Along the way, you will learn about the region's history and the fascinating culture of the Maasai people.

Tarangire National Park is renowned for its exceptional biodiversity, vast elephant herds, and diverse landscapes ranging from open savannas to seasonal swamps, all sustained by the Tarangire River. During your game drive, you may encounter lions stalking their prey, leopards resting in acacia trees, and a wide variety of other wildlife.

Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park while surrounded by the beauty of the African wilderness. Continue exploring the park throughout the afternoon, taking in its remarkable scenery and abundant wildlife.

After the game drive, proceed to your lodge for check-in. Spend the evening at leisure, followed by dinner and an overnight stay in comfort.

Ngorongoro Crater and Flight back to Zanzibar

After an early breakfast at 6:00 am, you’ll depart for a game drive in the Ngorongoro Crater. Starting early allows for breathtaking morning views of the crater and the best chances to observe active wildlife.

Ngorongoro is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera. It’s considered one of Africa’s Natural Wonders and is home to around 30,000 large animals, including elephants, lions, rhinos, buffaloes, and cheetahs. The crater also hosts a wide variety of birdlife, such as flamingos, eagles, and buzzards. With its dense wildlife population, you're likely to encounter many animals in a short period.

The game drive will conclude in the early afternoon, giving you time to travel back to Arusha Airport for your 4:30 pm flight to Zanzibar. Upon landing, a driver will be waiting to return you to your hotel, marking the end of your safari adventure.
