Early in the morning, at 6:00 AM (pick-up time may vary depending on your hotel’s location in Zanzibar, our transfer driver will take you to the airport for your 8:00 AM flight to Arusha. Upon arrival at 9:15 AM, our driver-guide will welcome you and drive you to Tarangire National Park, approximately 1.5 hours from Arusha.

During the scenic drive, you will enjoy insights about the history, culture, and traditions of Arusha and the Maasai people, setting the stage for an unforgettable safari adventure.

Tarangire National Park is renowned for its large elephant herds, iconic baobab trees, and diverse wildlife, including lions, giraffes, zebras, buffalo, and over 550 species of birds. Its scenic landscapes of riverine forests, savannah plains, and seasonal swamps offer incredible wildlife viewing opportunities, making it a perfect start to your safari journey.

Wake up for an early breakfast and depart for Ndutu, traveling through the scenic Ngorongoro Highlands. Upon arrival in the Southern Serengeti (Ndutu area), you will begin an exciting game drive, perfectly timed to experience the Great Wildebeest Migration calving season.

From late January to March, this area comes alive as thousands of wildebeest give birth, attracting large numbers of predators and creating exceptional wildlife viewing opportunities.

During this period, wildlife is abundant, and you are likely to spot wildebeest, zebras, lions, cheetahs, hyenas, and other plains game as you approach your camp. The day concludes with arrival at your Ndutu camp, where dinner and an overnight stay await, surrounded by the vast plains and sounds of the African wilderness.

Wake up for an early breakfast, then continue with a wildlife game drive in the Southern Serengeti National Park (Ndutu area) to experience the wildebeest calving season. Once you have finished the game drive, you will return to your accommodation for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.
Over 400,000 wildebeest calves are born, drawn to the lush, nutrient-rich grasslands that emerge after the short rains. The area becomes a nursery for the new generation of wildebeest, attracting predators like lions, cheetahs, and hyenas.

After an early breakfast, you will journey to the Ngorongoro Crater, descending into its vast caldera for a half-day game drive. The crater is one of Africa’s most iconic wildlife havens, home to black rhinos, hippos, elephants, lions, and an incredible density of wildlife within its unique ecosystem.

After a picnic lunch inside the crater, you will ascend and transfer to Arusha, where you will catch your return flight to Zanzibar.
