Your Mount Meru adventure begins at Momella Gate, located in Arusha National Park. From here, you’ll hike through lush montane forest, accompanied by an armed ranger due to the presence of wildlife such as giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and colobus monkeys. The trail gradually ascends, offering scenic views of waterfalls, valleys, and wildlife-rich clearings. This first day of trekking ends at Miriakamba Hut (2,514m), where you'll relax and enjoy the peaceful forest surroundings.

Day 2
Hike from Miriakamba Hut to Saddle Hut

On Day 2, you’ll leave Miriakamba Hut and begin your ascent through the lush montane forest into the heather and moorland zone. The trail gradually becomes steeper, offering scenic views of Mount Meru’s horseshoe crater and the distant Mount Kilimanjaro on a clear day. Along the way, you might spot wildlife such as bushbucks and colobus monkeys. After approximately 3–4 hours of hiking, you’ll arrive at Saddle Hut (3,570m), located just below Little Meru. The afternoon is free for rest or an optional acclimatisation hike to the summit of Little Meru (3,820m).

Day 3
Descend from Saddle Hut to Miriakamba Hut
Descend from Saddle Hut to Miriakamba Hut
On Day 3, you will wake up very early for the summit attempt to Socialist Peak (4,566m). The challenging trek to the top begins in the dark, guided by headlamps, to reach the summit by sunrise. From the peak, you’ll enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of Mount Kilimanjaro, the crater, and the surrounding landscapes — a truly rewarding experience.
After spending a short time at the summit, you'll descend back to Saddle Hut for a brief rest and lunch, then continue your descent to Miriakamba Hut. The downhill trail allows you to recover while enjoying scenic forest views and possibly spotting wildlife. This day combines the thrill of reaching the summit with a calming return to the lower slopes, ending with a well-earned rest at Miriakamba Hut.

Day 4
Final Descent from Miriakamba Hut to Momella Gate
Final Descent from Miriakamba Hut to Momella Gate
On your final day of the Mount Meru hike, you’ll descend from Miriakamba Hut back to Momella Gate, passing through lush montane forests rich in wildlife such as colobus monkeys and a variety of bird species. The trail offers a peaceful and scenic conclusion to your hiking adventure.
Upon arrival at Momella Gate, you’ll receive your summit certificate and be transferred back to Arusha, where you can relax and recover in preparation for the next day’s exciting safari experience.

Tarangire National Park is a hidden gem in northern Tanzania, renowned for its vast elephant population, iconic baobab trees, and beautiful savannah landscapes. During your game drive, you'll encounter a variety of wildlife, including lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and over 500 bird species. The Tarangire River, a vital water source, attracts animals year-round, offering excellent game viewing opportunities. This park provides a peaceful, less crowded safari experience and a perfect introduction to Tanzania's rich wildlife.

Day 6
Ngorongoro Crater
Ngorongoro Crater
Ngorongoro Crater offers one of Africa’s most unique safari experiences. Formed from a collapsed volcano, it is the world’s largest intact caldera and home to an incredible concentration of wildlife. As you descend into the crater, you'll be surrounded by breathtaking scenery and a diverse ecosystem supporting elephants, lions, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, and the rare black rhino. The crater floor also features Lake Magadi, where flamingos and hippos can often be spotted. A game drive here promises unmatched views and unforgettable wildlife encounters all within a compact area.
