Arusha – Drive to Ndutu (Southern Serengeti)

Your safari begins with an early morning pick-up from your hotel in Arusha.

You will drive through the Great Rift Valley, enjoying views of Lake Manyara along the way.

The journey continues past the Ngorongoro highlands before descending into the Ndutu region.

On arrival, you will begin your first game drive in the short-grass plains.

The area will be filled with wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles, many with newborn calves.

Predators such as lions, cheetahs, and hyenas will be nearby, creating exciting wildlife moments.

You will enjoy a picnic lunch during the day and continue your afternoon game drive until evening.

Dinner and overnight will be at a tented camp or lodge in Ndutu.

Game Drive in Ndutu

You will start with an early morning game drive to witness predator action at sunrise.

After breakfast, you will spend the full day exploring the calving grounds and the open plains.

This is the heart of the wildebeest migration during the calving season.

Expect to see newborn calves, large herds, and predator-prey interactions throughout the day.

You will have a picnic lunch in the bush to maximize your game viewing time.

The afternoon will be spent covering different parts of the Ndutu ecosystem, including Lake Ndutu and surrounding acacia woodland.

By evening, you will return to your camp or lodge for dinner and overnight.

Ndutu – Game Drive – Return to Arusha

After an early breakfast, you will enjoy a final morning game drive in Ndutu.

This will be your last chance to capture sightings of wildebeest herds and predators.

You will then begin the drive back towards Arusha, passing through the Ngorongoro highlands and Karatu.

A picnic lunch will be provided along the way.

By late afternoon or early evening, you will arrive in Arusha where the safari ends.
