Your driver will pick you up from your accommodation in Zanzibar, with transfers starting around 5:00 am depending on your exact location. From there, you’ll head to the airport for your scheduled flight to Arusha, expected to land at approximately 9:20 am. Upon arrival, you’ll be warmly welcomed by your safari guide.
Next, enjoy a scenic two-hour drive to Tarangire National Park, renowned for its large elephant herds and towering ancient baobab trees—some of the oldest and largest in Africa. Traveling in a safari vehicle with a pop-up roof, you’ll be immersed in the park’s rich landscapes, including seasonal wetlands, open savannas, and the life-giving Tarangire River.
As the day winds down, you’ll be taken to Karatu Villas lodge, where a delicious dinner and a restful night in a comfortable accommodation await.

Ngorongoro Crater to Zanzibar
Ngorongoro Crater to Zanzibar
Prepare for an early start at 5:00 am from Karatu Villas lodge, bringing along your packed breakfast and lunch as you set off toward the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater. This natural wonder teems with diverse East African wildlife, and with a bit of luck, you may even spot the rare and endangered black rhino. Covering a diameter of around 20 kilometers, the crater offers about five hours of immersive exploration amidst stunning scenery.
Following this unforgettable experience, you'll head back to Arusha Airport for your flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival, a professional driver will be ready to meet you and transfer you to your hotel anywhere on the Zanzibar island.
