Nairobi - Masai Mara

You will depart from Nairobi in the morning and drive to the floor of the Great Rift Valley on your way to the Masai Mara Natioanal Reserve. You will arrive at the lodge or camp in time for lunch and then go on an afternoon game drive until 6:00pm. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the Masai Mara Sopa Lodge.

Masai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast you will take off for a morning game drive with a packed lunch in hand. This game drive will take you on a search for great predators and perhaps even cubs. On the plains, you will see enormous herds of grazing animals. You may also get a chance to see the elusive cheetah and leopard hiding amidst the acacia boughs. Later you will return to the camp for lunch and then return to the reserve for an evening game drive along the famous Mara River.

The river is the gateway of the Great Migration between the Serengeti and the Masai Mara. This great spectacle features the pounding of over six million hooves from the vast Serengeti plains to the champagne-colored hills of Kenya’s Masai Mara. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the Sopa Lodge.

Masai Mara - Nairobi

In the morning after breakfast, you will go on a Masai village cultural tour for an hour and then depart for Nairobi. You will be dropped off at your hotel or the airport in order to catch your flight home. This is where your safari will end.
