Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by a Mooi Adventures representative and transferred to your hotel. This first day is designed for relaxation as you recover from your 10 Days Uganda Safari Experience journey and settle into the Ugandan atmosphere. Entebbe, located on the northern shores of Lake Victoria, is a peaceful town surrounded by greenery, birdlife, and fresh lake breezes. Depending on your arrival time, you may choose to rest at the hotel or take a short walk to nearby attractions such as the botanical gardens or the shores of Lake Victoria.
Your accommodation provides comfort and a serene environment where you can unwind. Later in the evening, your guide will brief you about the 10 Days Uganda Safari Experience, providing insights into what to expect over the next ten days. Dinner and overnight stay follow, ensuring you are well-prepared for the exciting adventure ahead.

After breakfast, you set off for Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda’s largest conservation area. The 10 Days Uganda Safari Experience journey takes you through scenic landscapes and bustling rural communities. Along the way, you will stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, the only place in Uganda where rhinos roam freely. A guided trek on foot allows you to observe these magnificent animals up close and learn about conservation efforts.
After the experience, you continue to Murchison Falls, where the Nile River forces itself through a narrow gorge before plunging into the Albertine Rift Valley. Upon arrival, you will hike to the top of the falls, where the thunderous roar, misty spray, and breathtaking view create a magical moment. This visit sets the tone for your exploration of Uganda’s wildlife treasures.
Later, you check in at your lodge inside the park. The evening is for relaxation, as you listen to the sounds of the wild around you.

Adventure in Murchison Falls National Park

This day is dedicated to exploring the wonders of Murchison Falls National Park. You begin with an early morning game drive across the park’s northern sector, a vast savannah teeming with wildlife. Expect sightings of elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, lions, Jackson’s hartebeests, oribis, and perhaps leopards. The rising sun casts golden hues over the landscape, offering excellent opportunities for photography.
In the afternoon, the 10 Days Uganda Safari Experience adventure shifts to the Victoria Nile, where you embark on a boat cruise to the base of Murchison Falls. Along the way, you will encounter schools of hippos, basking crocodiles, and elephants drinking along the banks. The river is also a birdwatcher’s paradise, hosting species such as the African fish eagle, kingfishers, and bee-eaters.
The boat stops near the base of the falls, where you marvel at the Nile’s immense power as it squeezes through a narrow gorge.

After breakfast, you begin your journey to Kibale Forest National Park, a region often referred to as the “primate capital of the world.” The drive is long but scenic, passing through rolling hills, tea plantations, and small villages that highlight Uganda’s cultural richness.
Upon arrival, you check in at your lodge before heading out for the Bigodi Swamp Walk, a community-led initiative near Kibale. This guided nature walk introduces you to wetland ecosystems rich in primates, birds, and plant species. Bigodi is renowned for sightings of the great blue turaco and various monkey species, making it a must-visit for nature enthusiasts.
The walk also allows you to interact with the local community, gaining insights into how they balance conservation with daily life. Afterward, you return to the lodge for relaxation and dinner.

The morning begins with an unforgettable experience chimpanzee tracking in Kibale Forest. After a briefing, you set off into the forest accompanied by rangers. The trek may take 2 to 5 hours depending on their movements, but once you locate them, you will spend an hour observing their interactions, playful behavior, and remarkable similarities to humans.
In the afternoon, you transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park and embark on an evening game drive.
