Your adventure begins as you depart from Arusha and head towards the iconic Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s most scenic and wildlife-rich areas.
Upon arrival, you’ll embark on a full-day game drive, complete with a packed picnic lunch to enjoy in the heart of the wild. Tarangire is famous for its vast savannahs dotted with towering baobab trees and is home to one of the largest concentrations of elephants in East Africa. The Tarangire River, which winds through the park, draws in diverse wildlife, especially during the dry season. As you explore, keep an eye out for lions lounging under the trees, stealthy leopards, swift cheetahs, massive buffalo, elegant giraffes, zebras, oryx, elands, and the rarely seen lesser kudu. With each turn of the trail, a new spectacle of nature unfolds.
As the sun begins to set, you’ll make your way to your carefully selected camp. Where a warm welcome, a delicious dinner, and the soothing sounds of the African night await you.

Adventure Continues From Tarangire to Lake Natron
After breakfast, you’ll depart with packed lunch boxes and begin a scenic 3.5-hour drive toward the dramatic landscapes of Lake Natron. Located northeast of the Ngorongoro Highlands and near the active Ol Doinyo Lengai volcano, Lake Natron offers an off-the-beaten-path adventure. Its surreal, alkaline waters are shallow, warm, and tinted red by salt-loving microorganisms creating a truly otherworldly setting.
Upon arrival, you will check in at your tented camp and enjoy a short rest. Later, lace up your walking shoes for a guided excursion led by a local Maasai guide. You’ll explore the lake’s shoreline, taking in sweeping views and observing its most iconic residents the lesser flamingos. Lake Natron is East Africa’s most important breeding ground for these birds, with up to 2 million gathering between September and January.
The walk also offers insight into Maasai culture and the unique ecology of the region. After the hike, return to camp for dinner and a peaceful overnight stay.

By 8:30 AM, return to camp for a hearty breakfast before setting off for the famous Serengeti National Park. The drive treats you to stunning views of villages, savannahs, and woodlands.
Arriving in the afternoon, you’ll embark on an exciting game drive across the Serengeti’s vast golden plains, searching for iconic wildlife. Enjoy a picnic lunch amid this breathtaking wilderness. As the sun sets, head to your camp for dinner and rest, surrounded by the sounds of the African night.

Alternatively, start early at 6:00 AM for a morning game drive, then return for breakfast and some rest before heading out again in the afternoon with a packed lunch.
On this day, you’ll explore the heart of Serengeti National Park the famed Seronera area. This region is renowned for its dense wildlife, including large prides of lions and elusive leopards. The Seronera River flows through here, attracting a rich variety of animals and offering spectacular viewing opportunities. Even outside the migration season, this area promises unforgettable encounters with some of the Serengeti’s most iconic species.

After breakfast, we set off on an adventurous journey along the rugged road to Lake Eyasi, a striking soda lake nestled in the heart of the Rift Valley. Arriving in the afternoon, you'll have the unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the rich culture of the Tatoga community an intriguing and proud group known for their traditional lifestyle. Guided by a knowledgeable Tatoga local, you’ll explore the village on foot, gaining authentic insights into their customs and daily life.
The surrounding dry, rugged landscape is also home to the Hadzabe or Watindiga, a small group of Bushmen who continue to live as their ancestors did over 10,000 years ago hunting with bows and arrows and gathering wild roots, tubers, and fruits. Nearby, you may also learn about the Datoga people, also known as Barabaig or Mang’ati, who historically engaged in rivalries with the Maasai over grazing lands. This cultural encounter offers a fascinating glimpse into ancient traditions still alive today.

After breakfast, you’ll head out for a morning game drive in the beautiful Lake Manyara National Park, a small but diverse park nestled beneath the Great Rift Valley escarpment. It’s the perfect final stop on your Tanzanian safari. The park welcomes you with lush forests filled with baboons and blue monkeys swinging in the canopy above.
The alkaline lake, which dominates the park, is a birdwatcher’s paradise. From November to April, thousands of flamingos paint the lake pink, joined by pelicans, storks, herons, and many other water birds.
Beyond the lake, grassy plains and acacia woodlands stretch out, where you may spot elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeests, and even the rare tree climbing lions resting in the branches.
