This is also an ideal area for photography, with incredible wildlife density and open landscapes. Half Day Ndutu to Ngorongoro

Start early with a 6:30am game drive in Ndutu to catch the morning action. After a few hours on safari, return to the camp for a hot lunch and some rest. At 2:00pm, begin your journey to the Ngorongoro Crater rim, climbing to an altitude of 2,500 meters. Arrive at Marera Valley Lodge around 5:00pm for dinner and overnight. Located near the highlands, this lodge offers cooler temperatures and beautiful garden views – a perfect base for your crater exploration the next day.

Ngorongoro Crater Tour to Arusha

After an early breakfast, depart at 6:30am with packed lunch for a game drive in the Ngorongoro Crater – one of Africa’s best wildlife viewing spots. Descend into the caldera to see the Big Five, especially the rare black rhino, huge lion prides, and flocks of flamingos on Lake Magadi. Stop for lunch at the scenic Ngoitoktok Hippo Pool. After a memorable morning, exit the conservation area by 1:00pm and return to Arusha, arriving by 5:00pm for drop-off at your hotel or onward travel.
