After breakfast, your guide will pick you up from your hotel/lodge in Arusha and drive you towards the striking landscapes of Lake Natron. Upon arrival, you will embark on a full-day exploration around Lake Natron—famous for its flamingo colonies, dramatic volcanic scenery, and unique ecosystems. Day 2

From Natron to Serengeti

From Natron to Serengeti

After an early breakfast at Africa Safari Lodge, depart Lake Natron and begin your scenic drive towards the world-famous Serengeti National Park. The route takes you across breathtaking landscapes of the Great Rift Valley, passing Maasai villages and open plains before reaching the park’s entrance.

Once inside Serengeti, enjoy your first game drive en route to your lodge/camp. The Serengeti is home to an extraordinary diversity of wildlife—lion, leopard, cheetah, elephants, giraffes, buffalo, and countless antelope species. Depending on the season, you may also witness the spectacular Great Migration as wildebeest and zebras move across the plains in search of fresh grazing.

Arrive at Safari Haven lodge & camp inside the park in the late afternoon. Relax, enjoy dinner, and spend the night surrounded by the magical sounds of the African wilderness.

From The plains to The Crater

After an early breakfast, depart Serengeti and enjoy a final game drive on your way out of the park. Continue towards the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s natural wonders and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Descend into the world’s largest intact caldera for a thrilling half-day game drive, where you may encounter lions, elephants, rhinos, buffalo, cheetahs, and an abundance of birdlife including flamingos along the lake shores. With its lush landscapes and incredible density of wildlife, Ngorongoro offers some of the best game-viewing opportunities in Tanzania.

From crater Rims to Lake eyasi

Early in the morning, set out to explore the cultural heart of Lake Eyasi. Visit the Hadzabe community, one of the last remaining hunter-gatherer tribes in Africa, and join them on a traditional hunting experience to learn about their unique way of life. Later, meet the Datoga people, skilled blacksmiths who still practice age-old metalworking traditions. These cultural encounters offer a rare opportunity to connect with Tanzania’s indigenous heritage.

After the visits, enjoy a relaxed walk around Lake Eyasi, where you may spot flamingos and other bird species while soaking in the stunning scenery.
