Day 1

You will begin your adventure early in the morning with a scenic drive from Arusha Town to Lake Manyara National Park, located approximately 2 to 2.5 hours away. Upon arrival, you'll embark on a game drive through lush groundwater forests, expansive grasslands, and along the lakeshore, where you may encounter elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, and the park’s renowned tree-climbing lions. Bird enthusiasts will also be delighted by the sight of flamingos and the diverse array of bird species that thrive near the lake.

Around midday, you’ll enjoy a picnic lunch at a designated site within the park, surrounded by the serene beauty of nature and roaming wildlife. After lunch, your adventure continues with an afternoon game drive, offering further opportunities to explore the park's diverse landscapes and spot more animals along the lakeshore.

You'll begin your adventure before sunrise, departing from Mto wa Mbu and traveling through the scenic highlands and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. After an early breakfast, you'll set out on a final morning game drive in the Serengeti, soaking in the breathtaking landscapes and searching for any last glimpses of wildlife. As you journey toward Ngorongoro, keep an eye out for animals roaming the open plains. Along the way, you'll enjoy a scenic picnic lunch in the bush.

In the afternoon, you'll continue with a game drive through the Seronera region, offering more chances to spot wildlife. Eventually, you'll exit Serengeti National Park and begin the drive to Ngorongoro Crater, a journey that takes approximately 3 to 4 hours.

Upon arrival, you'll check in at the Ngorongoro campsite, where you'll enjoy a warm dinner and settle in for the night.
