Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you’ll be warmly received by our guide who will transfer you to your hotel in either Entebbe or Kampala. Depending on your arrival time, you can choose to relax or take a brief tour around the city to get a feel of Uganda’s atmosphere.

Day 2

After an early breakfast, depart for Kibale National Park, the primate capital of East Africa. The scenic drive takes you through tea plantations and rural landscapes, with a lunch stop along the way. Arrive in the afternoon and settle into your lodge.

Begin your day with a hearty breakfast before heading into Kibale Forest for an exciting chimpanzee trekking experience. Accompanied by experienced rangers, you’ll walk through the lush rainforest in search of these lively primates. Along the way, enjoy the sights and sounds of the forest, spotting other monkeys, birds, and unique plant life. After your trek, you can relax at your lodge or take an optional guided walk through the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, known for its rich birdlife and vibrant community.

Day 4

Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable forest National Park

After breakfast, drive south to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. En route, you’ll pass through the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park, which is famous for its tree-climbing lions. Continue to Bwindi, arriving in the late afternoon. Settle in and rest up for the next day’s exciting adventure.

Today is the highlight of your safari. After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing before beginning your gorilla trekking experience. Hike through the dense forest in search of a gorilla family, spending a magical hour in their presence once found. In the afternoon, visit the Batwa community to learn about their traditional forest lifestyle and cultural heritage.
