From Masai Mara to Zanzibar

After breakfast, you’ll be transferred to the airstrip for your scenic flight from the Masai Mara back to Nairobi. On arrival, connect to your onward flight to the beautiful island of Zanzibar.

Reach Zanzibar in the late afternoon, where a friendly driver will be waiting to transfer you to Kisiwa on the Beach, a charming boutique beachfront hotel on the island’s peaceful east coast. Check in, settle into your room, and enjoy the gentle ocean breeze.

Dolphin Tour, Sandbank Picnic & Optional Turtle Experience

An exciting day of exploring Zanzibar’s southern coastline. Your adventure begins in Kizimkazi, famous for its resident pods of bottlenose and spinner dolphins. Head out on a traditional dhow boat for a guided Dolphin Tour, where you’ll have the chance to watch these playful creatures swimming alongside the boat in their natural habitat.

After dolphin viewing, continue by boat to a stunning pristine sandbank, where you’ll enjoy swimming, snorkeling, and relaxing in crystal-clear turquoise waters.

In the afternoon, you can choose to return to the hotel to relax or add on a visit to the Baraka Natural Aquarium (Nungwi Turtle Sanctuary). Here, you can learn about rescued green sea turtles, feed them, and even swim in the natural lagoon. It’s a heartwarming conservation experience and a favorite for couples and families.

Return to Kisiwa on the Beach in the late afternoon and spend the rest of the day unwinding enjoy a peaceful sunset before dinner.

Spice Farm Tour, Prison Island, to Stone Town City Tour

Enjoy breakfast at Kisiwa on the Beach, then check out for your transfer to historic Stone Town. On the way, you’ll stop at one of Zanzibar’s famous spice farms for a guided tour. Walk through aromatic gardens of cloves, vanilla, cinnamon, turmeric, cardamom, and tropical fruits as your guide explains Zanzibar’s rich spice heritage.

Next, head to the coast for your Prison Island tour. A short boat ride takes you to Changuu Island, home to giant Aldabra tortoises some over 150 years old.
After returning to the mainland, you’ll check in at the elegant Kisiwa House, a beautifully preserved boutique hotel in the heart of Stone Town.

In the late afternoon, your guide will take you on a Stone Town walking tour, exploring the city’s winding alleys, bustling markets, carved wooden doors, and iconic landmarks such as the Old Fort, Forodhani Gardens, and the House of Wonders. Feel the blend of African, Arabian, and European influences that make Stone Town so enchanting.
