The 4 – Full Hour Gorilla Habituation Experience in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Rise early for a hearty breakfast before heading to the Rushaga trailhead. Today, you embark on the extraordinary Gorilla Habituation Experience, a once-in-a-lifetime privilege available to only a handful of visitors daily in only Rushaga Sector of Bwindi Forest.
Accompanied by expert armed rangers, trackers and primatologists, you will trek through Bwindi’s ancient rainforest, following a gorilla family that is being gently habituated to human presence. Unlike the standard trek (1 hour), you will spend up to 4 full hours with the gorillas, observing their daily behavior from feeding and grooming to young gorillas playing under the watchful eyes of the silverback.

This rare intimacy offers unmatched opportunities for photography, learning and emotional connection.
