Hell’s Gate had absolutely stunning scenery. However, there were many sandy and rough sections, so riding a mountain bike there requires a lot of stamina. On the way back, I was completely exhausted and eventually had to call our guide for help.
One disappointing part of the experience was that some rangers offered to drive us back but asked for 2,500 Kenyan shillings. (NOT 250.) It felt like an unreasonable amount and came across as an unpleasant tourist solicitation, which left a bad impression. The scenery itself was amazing, but this experience was definitely a downside.

Nice little park, but I recommend the biking close to the zebras and gazelles.

We booked a bicycle ride in Hell's Gate and it was good. There were baboons and zebra at the 1st part of the ride and the scenery was amazing!!! I am glad we did it, but if I went again, this would be the only thing that I would not repeat.

We cycled the first 8 kilometres with our guide, which allowed us to really take in the stunning scenery. At the end, we went for a walk with him in the canyon and explored the hot springs.

Nice but finally just a gorge. Rangers announced the tour (extra costs)longer than it actually was and offered an extension for even more money. Ommissible.

Getting into the actual park was kind of a hustle between all the forms you have to fill and no easy payment options.

The park have a good natural scenario and some herbivorous easily visible due to the lack of predators, on the other side the park is small and not so spectacular compared to other parks in Kenya.
