Took really great care of us

Our recent adventure through Ethiopia with my two best friends was nothing short of incredible, and much of that credit goes to our fantastic tour guide, Blackie. From the moment we landed in Addis Ababa, right through our explorations of Gonder, Lalibela, and Harar, Blackie took such exceptional care of us.

As three girls traveling together, safety was naturally a priority, and Blackie made us feel completely secure and looked after every single step of the way. His attentiveness ensured that we could relax and fully immerse ourselves in the experience without a single worry. Everything felt utterly seamless, from logistics to local interactions.

Beyond just getting us from A to B, Blackie was a walking encyclopedia of Ethiopian knowledge. He didn't just rattle off facts; he shared fascinating "titbits" – stories, cultural nuances, insights into the local way of life, and delicious recommendations for food – that truly brought the country to life for us. We learned so much about Ethiopia's rich history, its diverse cultures, and its people, all delivered with passion and clarity.

The tour itself was perfectly designed. It was wonderfully paced, allowing us ample time to explore without feeling rushed, yet always keeping us engaged and informed. Blackie's flexibility was also a huge plus; he ensured our itinerary adapted to our interests and energy levels, which truly made for a lovely time.

But perhaps the most profound takeaway from our trip was the genuine warmth and kindness of the Ethiopian people themselves. I was truly taken aback by how gentle, welcoming, and hospitable everyone we encountered was. It's an impression that will stay with me long after the memories of the incredible sites fade.

If you're considering a trip to Ethiopia, especially as a group seeking a personalized and secure experience, I cannot recommend Blackie and this tour enough. It was an adventure of a lifetime, made all the more special by our exceptional guide.

It was very adventurous, amazing views, absolutely non mainstream with explorations of areas with literally no one else around but us. The nature in it's rawest state, but also the beauty of Africa and African people was presented to our own eyes.
