Perfect Zanzibar Tour

Safari pals tours was the perfect way to experience Zanzibar as a solo traveler. I came to visit the island with a general itinerary of what I wanted to do, but no concrete plans. I knew I wanted to visit the Salaam Turtle cave and go dolphin watching. I quickly realized once I arrived that options for solo travelers were limited or very expensive. Most single tours cost upwards of $150 and cost extra for transportation. Seeing that Zanzibar has limited options to arrange your own transport (uber and bolt do not work/only work in certain areas), I wasn’t sure how I’d get to do everything on my list without spending an arm and a leg. I looked on safaribookings to find a guide and came across Safari Pals. I reached out to see what my options were for the places I wanted to see, especially considering I was transferring from Jambiani (south of Zanzibar) up to Nungwi (northern Zanzibar). The operator gave me multiple options to work with my schedule at a reasonable budget. They assigned me a driver/guide, Mohamed, who made the whole trip perfect. He knew how to navigate everything I wanted to do and made me feel completely at home there to the point where I never had to lift a finger. His knowledge and hospitality made my trip a breeze and put Tanzania at one of my top destinations (for reference, I’ve been to 31 countries, so I am picky!). He remained easy to reach even after the 2 tour days were over, which allowed me to arrange transport to the airport easily! I highly recommend safari pals- ask for Mohamed M. for a smooth and wonderful trip!!

We had an amazing experience on our safari in Arusha National Park! We explored the park both on foot and by car, which was the perfect combination. The walking safari made the experience feel more personal and immersive, while the game drive allowed us to see a wide variety of wildlife up close.

The guides were excellent — professional, knowledgeable, and very friendly. They shared fascinating information about the animals and the park, and made sure we felt safe and comfortable at all times. The atmosphere was relaxed and enjoyable, yet everything was extremely well organized.

Communication before and during the tour was clear and smooth, which made the whole experience stress-free. Everything was handled professionally from start to finish.

Highly recommended for anyone visiting Tanzania !

I had a wonderful experience on the day safari. Everything was well organized, and the guides were friendly, knowledgeable, and made the entire trip enjoyable. Even in just one day, we were able to see a great variety of animals and learn a lot about the wildlife and the area. The guide took their time to make sure everyone could see and appreciate each sighting, which made the experience feel relaxed and not rushed. The vehicle was comfortable, and the overall pace of the safari was perfect. It was a memorable and exciting day, and I would definitely recommend this safari to anyone!

Incredible Days Exploring Serengeti & Ngorongoro Crater

From the very beginning, Safari Pals Tours impressed us with their availability and attention to detail in planning our two-days safari. They were quick to respond, always precise, and provided a clear, well-organized itinerary right from the initial estimate.

Our guide, Andrew, was exceptional and knowledgeable about nature and wildlife, skilled in navigating the challenging safari roads, and even capable of fixing a minor mechanical issue on the spot. We always felt safe and well cared for throughout the trip.

The meals through the lodge were great. The service was outstanding from start to finish excellent support, comfortable accommodations, and thoughtful care at every step. We are deeply grateful to Safari Pals Tours and our amazing guide, Andrew, for this unforgettable experience.
