I have known Eliab since 2019. He and his family are awesome, his wife has provided food/dishes for my local partners. He knows the country and can provide many options: gorilla trek, visiting the chimpanzees, going on a safari, and so much more. If you have time, go through what I call the enchanted forest, you will think you are in a Disney movie. He knows the people in the hotel industry can recommend a range of options from top tier hotels to basic hostels. In many places, you can spend the night without the continual noise of wave runners, etc. It is so peaceful to be able to look at a quiet lake with birds and different animals. He knows the best places to eat a variety of international dishes. He is well versed in the history of the country. Also, enjoy some of his recorded music as he and his wife sing in the church choir. Eliab can provide many options/suggestions and will meet you at the airport, take you on an amazing tour and will wave goodbye as you leave the country.

Eliab and Yassin are the best tour guides that you can find in Rwanda! They have been responsive, patient and proactive when planning our trip to Rwanda, catering to any special arrangements. They also showed us lots of traditions and culture from the country. They made sure that we are satisfied with the tour and more. We spent 5 very happy days together with them and truly enjoyed ourselves. We couldn't have been more happy with the trip and they will always be the guides that we recommend anyone visiting Rwanda!

Great Tours to Akagera

We recently completed our fourth trip to Akagera with Legacy Heritage Tours & had another great experience. We've lived in Kigali for a year & a half now & have had family & friends come to visit. The highlight of each visit has been an Akagera trip with this company. Eliab is very easy to work with & we have come to trust him to provide a great experience. His driver/guides are outstanding. They have picked us up at our place & taken us to Akagera (about 2.5 hours) with a stop for lunch (included). When we arrived, we had a game drive for about three hours & then checked into the Mantis-Akagera Lodge (very nice with scenic views & good food (included). The next morning we stsrted an all day game drive at about 6:30 am, before returning to Kigali. Each trip has been different, but each has been great! A highlight on several trips was getting up close & personal with quite a few elephants. We've also seen lions, rhinos, giraffes, hippos, crocodiles, zebra, warthogs, cape buffalo, all kinds if antelope, etc. I highly recommend this tour company!
