Excellent Safari Experience with the Great Migration!!

Looking for a reliable tour operator to take you on a once in a lifetime adventure can be quite overwhelming.

When searching for a tour operator to take us on a safari to witness the Big Five and the Great Migration, Pumba Reisen immediately stood out in comparison to the competition with their attention to detail, flexibility and expert advise in planning my bucket list adventure!

When everyone is different and has their own list on what they expect from their safari experience, having a tour operator that makes a customized itinerary based on your requirements and budget makes all the difference.

Pumba Reisen went above and beyond in this regard. We were in touch with William Laizer, the founder of Pumba Reisen, and found it very easy to communicate with him while planning our tour.

He was able to put our minds at ease and walk us through the whole planning phase with his expertise. We booked a 2 week trip which included visiting Northern Serengeti for the Great Migration, Central Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater and Tarangire National Park followed by a stay in Zanzibar, the perfect balance to a trip in Tanzania!

The selection of accommodations and the food was simply excellent and often exceeded our expectations!

Even our guide Mr. Ammar was highly skilled and knowledgeable and was able to answer all our questions not only about the wildlife, but even about the local tribes and life in Tanzania with ease. He went above and beyond to ensure we had a successful safari and got to witness the Great Migration, the Big Five and more by constantly being in touch with other guides on the radio to find out the best viewing spots to take us to!

In Zanzibar too, we were put up in an excellent property right by the beach, offering amazing views of the Indian Ocean.

We would highly recommend Pumba Reisen to anyone looking at planning a safari adventure. Thank you William and team for making this a truly memorable experience!

Big 5 and Great Migration: A Spellbinding Safari Adventure

Fantastic experience!
I was in touch with William when we were trying to make the reservation for the safari.He listened to our needs, customized our itinerary and also kept the budget in mind. If I look at other safari companies, this one was the best when it comes to the price, value for money and the accommodation that was picked for us. We were just spellbound by seeing the places that we were staying each night. Also, it's a small company, who is interested to give an experience and not earn only money.
We witnessed the great migration, saw all the big 5 and many other animals.
We had Amaar as our guide who was also excellent and had a very good knowledge about the safari & animals and had lots of stories to share.
After the safari, William and Karen came to take the feedback from us & they were very open to listen to us.
William had even come to pick us up and even drop us to the airport when we were going to Zanzibar. He is a very nice person & I hope Pumba Reisen touches the sky. Definitely recommended and if I ever decide to come back, it will be Pumba Reisen!

Simply great

Pumba Reisen was the best tour operator we could have wished for. They anticipated our every need. During the Kilimanjaro climb, we had a fantastic, caring crew and amazing food, and the guides led us perfectly to the summit. The safari was flawless; the guide showed us the "Big Five" and explained everything perfectly. We finished the trip in Zanzibar—all organized by Pumba Reisen. Value for money, accommodations, and service—everything was perfect. Thank you for an unforgettable time.

At first we had good contact by mail. All important details were mentioned.

The people of the organisation were so kind to bring us to our hotel after we have landed at Arusha Airport. While we had our 3 days of safari, the tour guide, Baraka, had a lot to tell about the animals, but also about the people, environment and he had an answer to all of our questions.

We have seen every animal we hoped for, so we couldn’t we happier.

The organisation helped us out with problems as well and we had nothing to care for is these days.

A fantastic safari experience with friendly people and excellent organization!

We had an amazing safari with Pumba Reisen from start to finish. Everything was perfectly organized, which allowed us to relax and fully enjoy the experience. The communication before and during the trip was excellent, and every detail was taken care of.

Our guide was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about wildlife. He made every game drive special and always did his best to give us the best possible sightings. Thanks to him, we had unforgettable encounters with amazing animals and learned so much about nature.
