Passionate, reliable and trustworthy
Pioneer Safari Tours organized our 3 nights/ 4 days Safari Tour into the Delta/Moremi on a short notice in a very professional and uncomplicated manner.
Communication and customer service was high standard and we felt taken care off at any time and beyond program.
The Mokoro Tour with the bushwalks is a unique experience and despite lots of water in Moremi our pationnate guide tried everything possible to make us enjoy the Safari to the full.
The whole journey with tipps included is rather pricy, however you get something for the money.

I visited Botswana with Pioneer Safari Tours Botswana in August 2025, and we had a fantastic holiday. The safari was beautiful from start to finish, beginning in the Central Kalahari, continuing to Moremi Game Reserve, and ending in the Khwai Concession area.
We saw a lot of wildlife, including cheetahs, lions, and leopards—there was truly nothing to complain about. The experience exceeded our expectations, and everything was very well organized. Our guide, Obi, and our chef, Star, did an excellent job and took great care of us throughout the safari.
We truly enjoyed our safari and will definitely keep in touch with Pioneer Safari Tours Botswana. I highly recommend them to anyone planning a safari in Botswana.

Amazing Botswana safari!
I've had 2 safaris with Pioneer Safaris, both were incredible. We got to experience the best of Botswana's National Parks, such as Moremi, Khwai, Central Kalahari and Savuti. We stayed in spacious tents, with separate bathroom and shower tents. The staff were incredibly professional, they had everything prepared to the last detail, the food was great, and the game drives were amazing. The main driver and tour guide always went above and beyond to get us to the best sightings, and position us for the best photographic situations. Highly recommended!

Amazing photographic safari in Botswana
I've been to 2 safaris with Pioneer Safaris, one in 2024 and then again in 2025. Both times we had an amazing experience, we visited Moremi, Kwhai, Savuti and Central Kalahari GR. Very friendly and professional staff, and Obi the driver and guide is the best you can possibly find in Botswana and the whole of Africa, he went above and beyond to offer the best experience and position us for the best photographic situations.
We stayed in large tents, while the staff also setup separate shower and bathroom tents.
5/5 stars!

The ultimate choice for wildlife photography – Obby is a legend!
As a wildlife photographer who has been on numerous safaris across Africa, I can honestly say that my last two trips to Botswana with Pioneer Safaris and Tours were the best experiences I’ve ever had. Choosing them was undoubtedly the best decision I’ve made. A huge part of this success is due to our guide, Obby. He is simply the best local guide I have encountered—tireless, incredibly experienced, and always eager to go the extra mile to ensure you get the perfect shot. His knowledge of the local areas and animal behavior is vast, which makes a huge difference in positioning for photography. Pioneer Safaris is extremely well-organized, offering great food and camps in the absolute best locations. Obby is not just a top-tier guide but also a fantastic guy to be around. I recommend Pioneer and Obby without hesitation!
