An unforgettable family safari with an outstanding guide

We had an absolutely unforgettable safari experience in Kenya as a family of four, and a huge part of that was thanks to our driver and guide, Joel.
From the very first day, Joel was friendly, reliable, patient and incredibly knowledgeable. He has an amazing eye for wildlife and always seemed to know where to go and when. We saw an incredible variety of animals and had so many special moments along the way.
What we appreciated most was that Joel never made the safari feel rushed. He took the time to explain the animals, the landscape and life in Kenya, answered all our questions and was wonderful with our two daughters. After several days travelling together, it felt much more like exploring Kenya with someone we knew than simply having a driver.
Our journey through Maasai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Naivasha and Amboseli was one of the highlights of our entire Kenya trip and something our family will remember for a very long time.
We can wholeheartedly recommend Joel to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, warm and genuinely committed safari guide. Thank you, Joel, for making our week in Kenya so special!

Joel is respectful of the animals, which is (sadly) hard to find in most of the guides in the park. We also did not have any trouble with the logistics of the tour

Our African safari was made unforgettable thanks to our exceptional tour guide. He was a treasure trove of knowledge, sharing fascinating information about every animal we encountered, the history of the park, and the unique plants and ecosystems that make it so special.

His experience as a driver was evident from the start. He expertly navigated the park’s roads and had an incredible ability to locate wildlife that we never would have spotted on our own. Every game drive was exciting, and we always felt we were in capable hands.

Beyond his expertise, he was entertaining, friendly, and passionate about what he does. His enthusiasm made every moment enjoyable, and we learned so much while having a wonderful time. If you’re looking for a guide who is knowledgeable, experienced, and genuinely committed to giving you the best safari experience possible, I couldn’t recommend him more highly.

Joel and team are amazing! We toured Tsavo East. What an incredible experience. The whole trip was well planned and organized and the transportation to and from Nairobi was flawless. Highly recommend Zazu Safari.
