Our experience with African Big Cats Safaris was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. The communication was clear and professional right from the beginning, and every question we had was answered quickly and thoroughly.

The drivers and guides were exceptional — very professional, knowledgeable, and deeply respectful of nature. Their persistence and passion for finding the animals made every game drive exciting and rewarding. We learned so muchabout the wildlife, their behaviors, and even their individual names, which made the experience truly special.

The choice of lodges was excellent, comfortable, and well-matched to each location. The entire journey felt seamless and well organized. A big thank you to Naomi for her clear and consistent communication behind the scenes, and to ourfriendly guides — Daniel in Kenya, and Endeni and Gifty in Tanzania — for making us feel so comfortable and turning our safari into a true cultural discovery, not just a trip.

We had an amazing experience with this small but incredibly professional safari company. From the very beginning, the service was outstanding. William assisted us during the booking process with great attention to detail, making everything smooth and stress-free. Naomi followed up with us regularly, ensuring we had all the information we needed before the trip.

Once we arrived, Emanuel gave us a clear and helpful briefing so we knew exactly what to expect. Our guide, Elias, was exceptional — knowledgeable, friendly, and always attentive to what we wanted to see and do. Thanks to him, every game drive was unforgettable.

The selection of lodges and hotels was perfect, and the overall planning and support throughout the journey made our safari truly special.

From start to finish, African Big Cats Safaris was an incredible company to book with. Customer service was excellent, all questions were answered quickly and clearly. The airport pick up was smooth and all accommodations were comfortable, clean and the food was great! Staff at each site we visited were incredibly helpful, friendly, welcoming and polite. Our guide was truly outstanding. He was incredibly knowledgeable about every animal we saw and could spot animals from a crazy distance and got us up close to view the wildlife. Our guide went above and beyond expectations to ensure our trip was everything we ever imagined. He delivered!
A representative from African Big Cats met with us when we arrived at our first location and went through our entire trip and answered any questions we had. At the end of our trip a similar conversation took place as they were very focussed on our comfort and overall experience.
We highly recommend African Big Cats Safaris. An entirely surreal experience curated by this fantastic company.

My family and I had the most incredible experience with African Big Cats Safaris during our recent trip to Tanzania! From the moment we were picked up at Kilimanjaro Airport, everything was seamless and professionally handled. Our guide, Obeydi, was not only knowledgeable about the wildlife and ecosystems but also incredibly friendly.
We visited the Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, and Tarangire National Park — each destination offering breathtaking landscapes and unforgettable wildlife encounters. We saw all the Big Five, including a rare sighting of a leopard lounging in a tree and a pride of lions with cubs just a few meters from our vehicle!
The accommodations were top-notch, blending comfort with the authentic safari experience. The team ensured we were well-fed, safe, and informed throughout the journey.
I highly recommend African Big Cats Safaris to anyone looking for a well-organized, ethical, and truly magical safari experience in Tanzania. I would definitely book with them again!

OUTSTANDING LIFETIME EXPERIENCE


We searched Safaribookings.com intensely and chose African Big Cats Safaris because they ticked all the boxes for us.
From the initial contact, the staff were very professional and helpful. Joshua and Naomi answered any questions quickly and with a friendly approach.
The meetings at the start and end of the safari with Emanuel (Managing Director) shows the dedication and personal care this company has.

The itinerary for the Photographic Safari was excellent. We added an extra day in Arusha at the start without any problem.
The safari was well planned and the accommodation in each location was superb.

This excellent safari was made OUTSTANDING by our driver/guide FESTO.
He is a human encyclopaedia when it comes to the birds, animals and culture of his country. His driving skills are impressive. His passion is infectious.
Each day we shared wonderful, magical experiences. Festo became a friend in the short time we were with him.
This was our first safari and we were lucky to have chosen African Big Cats Safaris. They would be the only company we would go back to.
