A complete, all-in-one package!

Our guides Kapande and Rajabu (great guys!) took excellent care of us throughout the entire trip. They got us safely to every destination while sharing stories and local insights along the way. Communication before and during the safari was smooth and responsive — we always knew what to expect. The service felt personal and well-organized from start to finish. For the quality of the experience, the value for money is very solid. We'd happily recommend this tour to anyone looking for a reliable, hassle-free safari adventure.

We travelled from our hotel in the South of Zanzibar to Mikumi National Park on a 1day safari. We were collected from our hotel, taken to the domestic airport terminal in a luxury vehicle and flew in a small propeller aircraft (14seater) directly into the National Park landing on the dirt airstrip, the flight itself was incredibly exciting. As we approached Mikumi airport we spotted giraffes and elephants from the sky!! We landed and were immediately introduced to our driver and guide Frank. What a top notch guide. He knew where to go and what we wanted to see. We saw Lions, elephants, giraffe, hippos, zebra, antelope, birds galore!! Lunch was very good and just being in that environment was so incredible. Our experience with Uwanda Tours and Safaris was superb, don’t panic if they don’t contact you until the day before you are going on your safari, they will!!

It was an amazing adventure for us with a wonderful guide and driver. They also have fun like us and respect the nature and animals.Very nice tour we always remember. Maybe we come back sometimes to start a longer tour.

After some frustration with inflexibilty of UK travel agents, I decided to look for a local Zanzibar tour operator. Uwanda offered great choice and flexibilty. We booked 3 nights (4 days) at the Selous Impala camp. This is probably the best place we have stayed, ever! Throughout booking, payment and logistics in Zanzibar, Uwanda were always available (WhatsApp and on the ground in Zanzibar). If you are looking to safari in Tanzania I 100% recommend Uwanda. And if you can afford it (it is expensive) go to the Impala Camp.

Great Safari Experience

We had a great three day Safari with Ramah who was an amazing Guide! Pick up early in the morning worked great, the Lodge was really nice and the Safari was super interesting. We hardly saw any other cars and were able to spot so many different animals. Ramah really took his time with us to see as much as possible, thanks for that. Definitely recommend.
