From the moment I first reached out almost a year ago to the day our tour finished, Soul of Madagascar made the entire experience seamless. The professionalism, responsiveness and attention to detail throughout the planning process gave us confidence from the very beginning. They took the time to understand what we wanted from the trip and worked with us to create an itinerary that perfectly suited our interests, rather than simply offering a standard package.

Madagascar is unlike anywhere else we've travelled. It isn't a destination for luxury or convenience, it's a place of extraordinary wildlife, dramatic landscapes and genuinely warm people. If you're looking for an authentic adventure, this is it.

Excellent service and quick response

We reached out Theresia, the owner of Soul of Madagascar, one year ago for preparing our trip to Africa in this year. Theresia gave me very quick response with beautiful and detailed proposal. We finally chose Soul of Madagascar as our tour agency.
Theresia was very responsible and thoughtful. She checked details of our itinerary with us before our arrival, and followed up our feedback for our whole trip. We really appreciate all her help.
Michael, our multi-days guide was very professional and experienced.
Manua, our young driver, was very friendly.

Great Lemur Viewing Trip

Planning a trip to Madagascar can be daunting, but Theresia, our guide Michael, and driver, Ambinintsoa, provided a level of attentiveness that truly stands out. Having traveled to over 50 countries, I was incredibly impressed by their care.

Before we arrived, Theresia was highly responsive, which helped ease the stress of planning. Once on the ground, Ambinintsoa did everything he could to make the journey smooth.

Madagascar's road conditions are famously brutal, but he navigated the rough terrain carefully and always tried to park as close as possible to our stops to maximize our comfort.

Our guide, Michael, is excellent at what he does. He genuinely loves and respects local wildlife. We saw 13 different types of lemurs. He proactively coordinated with park rangers to track animals, communicated what we had already seen and what would be interesting to spot next and worked with the rangers to keep the more dominant species occupied so the shyer species could come closer. He also handles logistics well. When an unrelated tourist group delayed our boat, Michael stepped in to resolve the situation and get us moving.

Michael and Ambinintsoa also pay attention to small, personal details. When we mentioned wanting to try local lychees, which were out of season, they managed to treat us with fresh rambutan which were delicious.

The team also handles unexpected issues very professionally. On our final day, Ambinintsoa was called away to assist with a broken-down company vehicle. Even while managing that operational headache, Michael and Ambinintsoa made sure to arrange a substitute private airport transfer for us. They are a deeply dedicated team that genuinely cares about your experience. I can't recommend them enough!

I spent my Christmas holidays in Madagascar and booked my trip with Souls of Madagascar, and I’m so glad I did. Everything was incredibly well organized, from the airport pick up to the transfers, drivers, tour guides, and accommodations. I visited Antananarivo, Andasibe, Morondava, and Kirindy, and every part of the journey felt safe and memorable.
