Excellent tour operator, friendly guide with knowledge and humor

We did a 16-day safari through Uganda and honestly… it was such a great experience from start to finish. Everything was really well organized, exactly how we wanted it, which made the whole trip feel relaxed and easy.
Our guide knew the country inside out and was incredibly trustworthy — you just felt you were in good hands the whole time. That makes such a difference on a trip like this.
The places we stayed were lovely, the lodges had great locations, and the game drives were amazing. We saw so much wildlife! Highlights for me were the chimpanzee tracking, rhino sanctuary, the game drives and visiting Murchison Falls — absolutely impressive.
All in all, a fantastic trip. I’d definitely recommend this tour operator if you’re thinking about a safari in Uganda.

It was a lovely experience to be traveling with Abram! He definitely knows the best spots in Uganda and brings a lot of joy to the trip. We traveled for 2.5 weeks with our family and would recommend Abram as your guide. Furthermore, the price and quality is in good balance.

Incredible experience with Safari Gurus - highly recommend for the following reasons:

1. Fair pricing. Unlike many other Safari providers, Safari Gurus from the start provided a fair quote. Most other providers will overcharge you.
2. Flexibility. I came to Uganda shortly after the elections, and I was considering to postpone my trip last minute. Abram was understanding even though I only gave a final confirmed a few days before the trip. We also made some last minute hotel changes, which again he was able to take care of.
3. Great people. We had the pleasure of having Ivan as our guide. He shared tons of stories about growing up in Uganda, the culture, and any other topics my group had questions on. Can’t recommend Ivan enough.

Skip the big tour companies and go with this great local option.
