We would like to express our appreciation and thanks to Silverbird Tours Agency (via SafariBookings.com) for organizing our trips in Rwanda and Uganda, including gorilla and chimpanzee treks and a safari in Queen Elizabeth National Park. The accommodation arrangements and the guide were also of a high standard. We highly recommend contacting this agency when planning trips to these countries.

Amazing experience that could be even better!
Our safari was an unforgettable experience overall, and we came away with incredible memories. All the permits, park entries, and activities were well organized, and our driver-guide was outstanding. He was professional, knowledgeable, adaptable, and went above and beyond to solve issues throughout the trip. He truly made the experience special.
There are a few areas where the tour operator could improve, mainly around communication and coordination. Some services included in our package were not properly communicated to the hotels, resulting in no airport pickup upon arrival (we had to call the hotel to be picked up), our extra night not being reserved, confusion over the drinks that were included in the package, and an unannounced hotel change in Kigali. The implementation of the proposal was sometimes inconsistent. Better communication with the hotels and local partners would ensure that what is sold is delivered seamlessly to guests.
But overall, the logistics for the safari itself—including permits and bookings—were handled very well!
Despite these issues, we had a fantastic trip, thanks in large part to our exceptional driver-guide (Eddie) and the amazing wildlife experiences. With a few operational improvements, this company could provide an outstanding experience from start to finish. I would not hesitate to book with SilverBird again. I would simply make sure beforehand that all the services outlined in the proposal are communicated transparently and delivered as agreed. With better coordination and communication, the experience would be excellent from start to finish.

Very customer oriented in their delivery of excellent services
Our guide Justin provided us with excellent service. He is very knowledgeable regarding the trekking locations, the wildlife and accommodations. All accommodations were excellent, providing great views and fine dining.
Amazing, reliable, good-value, wonderful experience
my son and I enjoyed a wonderful safari trip to Uganda with Silverbird tours. Guide Arafat was fantastic - v knowledgeable and great company. Everything ran very smoothly. Saw big 5 plus chimpanzees, gorillas and many many more birds and animals. Every place we stayed was comfortable and welcoming with great amenities. Beautiful country. Wholeheartedly recommend Silverbird Tours and guide Arafat !!

Professional and very well organized
Silverbird Tours were very easy to work with to develop a custom 5 day/4 night tour for Gorillas, Golden Monkey, Chimpanzees and Wildlife Safari. Payment was secure and the agency provided the receipts confirming the pre-paid permits etc. All the arrangements were excellent and provided as agreed. My driver/guide, Justin, was very professional and knowledgeable. From picking me up at Kigali Airport to dropping off back at the airport on time for my flight home he provided top-class service. The Silverbird vehicle was a newer model SUV, very comfortable for some long drives, clean and well maintained. The Gorilla, Golden Monkey and Wildlife Safari's were exceptional. The chimpanzee trek was disorganized and not recommended, but this was the fault the National Park Community Guides and not Silverbird Tours.
