Very easy and helpful
I had no idea about Namibia and they helped me to find the perfect route, the right times to stay in each place, gave the correct advice. I am very satisfied with the overall holidays. Will contact them again if we plan a trip to South Africa.
Personal touch, professional service for a memorable experience
Talya from Ranger Buck Safaris helped us curate and plan our trip to the Timbavati and Klaserie Nature Reserves.
Her choice of lodges - Misava and Amaya - were spectacular.
We thoroughly enjoyed the intimacy of each place and the sense of personal touch we gained from the staff at each. Both had different aspects of magic and complemented each other well.
We also had trouble with Google Maps on our journey to our first lodge which left us horribly lost but Tayla was available to help us as best she could until we reached our lodge.
Can highly recommend Tayla, Ranger Buck Safaris and Misava and Amaya for a truly special stay in the best of the bush!

Ranger Buck Safaris - 5 Stars
Ranger Buck Safaris did an excellent job assisting us with the safari portion of our honeymoon at Kapama River Lodge. They were extremely helpful from the outset, guiding us to the perfect reserve and responding promptly to all of our questions.
Although we booked the rest of our South Africa trip ourselves, the team still provided valuable suggestions for activities at our other destinations, which was greatly appreciated. Their knowledge, responsiveness, and attention to detail made the entire process smooth and enjoyable.
We would highly recommend Ranger Buck Safaris to anyone planning a safari experience.
Fantastic tour operator - great communication from start to finish, highly, highly recommend
We were so well looked after - every little detail was taken care of. We were met and welcomed at every point of travel, the entire trip was so smooth, encountered no issues whatsoever.
Ranger Buck Safaris picked the most superb eco lodge for us at Batleur Safari Camp in the Timbivati region in South Africa, undoubtedly the best, magical destination ever. We were celebrating our 40th anniversary and have travelled extensively over the years but both agreed this was our best escape ever! We were spoilt at the lodge on the day of our celebration!
Food was excellent. Lovely small, intimate camp and fabulous interactions with other guests. Gorgeous public area with an immaculate, modern kitchen where we could always help ourselves to snacks and drinks. Rangers and trackers were so knowlwdgeable and super friendly. We both were so, so sad to leave.
Great value for money. We travelled on to Cape Town after our safari where we had the most beautiful little suite at the President Hotel and again were looked after superbly by our driver. She met us from the airport and stayed with us till we left South Africa. Amazing trip.
Valerie and Tony's South Africa Safari, Victoria Falls and Cape Town Holiday.
We travelled to South Africa and Zimbabwe to experience our first Safari, see the Victoria Falls and visit to Cape Town. In all, we had a great experience and saw some amazing sights. Our trip started with an unexpected mishap, where Valerie was unwell on the flight to Johannesburg. We were met at Johannesburg, and were helped onto our local flight to Hoedspruit. The airport is next to the Kapama Game Reserve. We stayed there for 4 days, completing 9 drives across the whole reserve. We saw so many animals, except the elusive leopard. The accommodation was very good, very comfortable and we were treated extremely well. The staff were so helpful and pleasant. We had guides who were well-informed and knowledgeable of the terrain and the animals in the reserve. We witnessed many wonderful sights, particularly the beautiful sunsets. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Kapama Game Reserve.
We moved onto Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe. We, unfortunately, had difficulties with the local flights and immigation issues. However, we were met a the airport and taken to our accommodation. The accommodation was very comfortable. We stayed at the Samanzi. We had two days in Victoria Falls with a local meal extravaganza on the first evening. The second day was a trip to the Victoria Falls, followed by a boat trip on the Zambezi River. the trip was wonderful, with the help of the knowledgeable guides. We were unhappy with airline for the local flights. The airline, which flew from Johannesburg and also catered for travel to Victoria Falls, appeared to be better, particularly with luggage costs. The Zambezi trip was fascinating with the animals that lived in and around the Zambezi River.
We flew down to Cape Town, where we spent 4 days touring the area. The flight was comfortable, with no 'add on' costs. We stayed at the Portswood Hotel. Its location was next to the Waterfront. We had tours covering the city itself, Chapman's Peak, Winelands, Table Mountain, Cape of Good Hope, Boulders Beach. We were blessed with a great guide, whose knowledge of the City and its landmarks was so helpful. We visited the Archbishop Tutu museum. The 4 days in Cape Town was very good. In terms of value for money, we did have communication issues with the travel arrangements and costs between South Africa and Zimbabwe. This did vary with the airlines used. The tour guides for each location were excellent.
