Outstanding service and magical experience

My husband and I travelled to Uganda with tour agency Deluxe Vacations as part of our honeymoon and let me say that Godwin organized the trip of our lives.

Uganda truly stole our hearts. It’s a country of lush landscapes, kind-hearted people, and once-in-a-lifetime experiences that we’ll never forget.

We explored Kibale Forest, where we had the amazing chance to track chimpanzees — seeing them up close, in their natural habitat, was exciting, emotional, and surprisingly moving. From there, we went to Queen Elizabeth National Park, where we enjoyed stunning game drives and saw elephants, buffalo, hippos, and so much more.

But the absolute highlight was the gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. That moment — standing just meters away from a gorilla family, looking into their eyes — was beyond magical. It was one of the most powerful, humbling experiences we’ve ever had.

None of this would’ve been the same without our incredible guide, James. His knowledge, calm energy, and deep love for Uganda made the journey even more special. We always felt safe, cared for, and truly connected to the places we visited.

Uganda is not just a destination — it’s a soul-stirring adventure that stays with you long after you leave.

Accommodating, flexible and professional

Every aspect of our trip with Deluxe Vacations was absolutely perfect! There are so many tour groups to choose from it can be overwhelming, but I felt good about Deluxe from the start. I had been to Uganda before so I knew a bit of what I wanted to experience going with husband and reached out to multiple companies: some responded with their standard program, others said there was flexibility but would charge thousands extra, while others never followed-up after I asked question. Deluxe, however, was not only incredibly communicative from the start, but incredibly flexible and reasonable. Can we do chimpanzee trekking and gorilla trekking? Sure! Can we find the shoebill stork? Of course? And zebras, is there a way we can see zebras? Absolutely! Every request, every ask, both before and during the trip, was met with kindness and hospitality. Godwin was so easy and pleasurable to work with, and paid such close attention to detail that he even recognized my husband was born in Germany and paired us with an amazing guide - Emanuel - who was studying German, which just made our time together that much more enjoyable. The little details, the kindness, the attention to our needs and wants, made this trip absolutely amazing (be careful if you mention you like Stoney’s - Eman will make sure you always have one in hand!) Where other groups were offering trips in large groups that were twice as much and half as nice, our tour with Deluxe was a private tour, thousands less, and the accommodations were beautiful! I could not recommend Deluxe enough - don’t be afraid to let them know what you’re looking for - they will go out of their way to accommodate you (even grabbing you a Rolex when you’re craving one!) and ensure you have the most memorable trip. I can’t wait till my next trip to Uganda to explore the Northern parts with Deluxe!

Excellent Safari Operator

My travel to Uganda exceeded my expectations , all thanks to deluxe Vacations Uganda. From the moment i inquired about their 8 days safari, Godwin was quick to answer and with attention to detail. I really loved every bit untill the tour was confirmed. Now, On reaching Entebbe airport, my guide James was awesome. He was informative, lively and with a good sense of humour. The vehicle was splendid! clean, in good condition and with a freezing air-conditioning.

While on Safari, we spotted very many animals and birdspecies. My highlight was the Gorillas! I loved it. All in all, I highly recommend Deluxe Vacations Uganda, because they are proffessional and deliver more than what they promise, giving a truely authentic and personalized safari experience.

I recently came back from my long-time awaited safari with Deluxe Vacations Uganda, and I can honestly say it was an unforgettable journey. From the moment I arrived at Entebbe Airport, the service was exceptional. Even though there was a long queue at immigration, the team at Deluxe Vacations made sure I was assisted swiftly, which allowed me to get through immigration with ease and begin my adventure stress-free.

The itinerary was perfectly tailored to showcase the best of Uganda's wildlife and landscapes. The highlight of the trip was definitely our time in Queen Elizabeth National Park, where our guide went above and beyond to make our experience special. After a long day of game drives, we were treated to an incredible sundowner—something I never expected! Our guide set up a scenic spot where we could relax, sip drinks, and take in the breathtaking views as the sun set over the park. It was a magical moment that truly elevated the safari experience.

Throughout the trip, the accommodations were comfortable, and the meals were delicious. The team’s attention to detail, professionalism, and genuine care for making our trip perfect stood out at every turn. I felt completely taken care of, from the airport pickup to the seamless transitions between parks, and I was able to fully immerse myself in the beauty of Uganda.
