A highly recommended safari tour operator

When searching for a safari in Tanzania, I used Safari Bookings. The offer and the good reviews of Great Escape Trails convinced me to choose it, which turned out to be a great choice. We spent two days in Tarangire and Ngorongoro, with an overnight stay at Africa Safari Escarpment Manyara – I highly recommend it. Thom was a great guide and driver, and his eye for spotting animals is enviable. We spent many hours talking interestingly about safaris, Tanzania, and everyday life.

A dream safari – perfect from A to Z

Honestly: If you're still hesitating – just book it, it's absolutely worth it!

The wildlife sightings and the scenery were truly unique. A huge thank you goes to our guide, Thom, who made the safari perfect. He answered every question about the culture and wildlife immediately and always knew in advance how the animals would move. This meant we were always in the best spot for the perfect view.

We just returned from an incredible trip. For anyone hesitant about booking this safari: just do it, it is absolutely worth it.

We were lucky to see so much wildlife and breathtaking nature. A huge part of this great experience was our guide, Thom. He is extremely knowledgeable and could answer every single question we had about the animals and local culture. What impressed us most was his foresight: he always anticipated how the animals would move and positioned the jeep perfectly so we had the best possible view every time.

Everything was top-notch organized from start to finish, and Thom is not only a fantastic guide, but also a wonderful person who we grew very fond of.

We had an amazing experience with The Great Escape from start to finish. Even before our trip, the booking process was smooth and easy. The team was always available, responded quickly to every question, and made us feel confident and well-prepared.
