Extraordinary experience with Zagol Ethiopia Tours: I had a very personalized experience and it continued to be customized as we traveled to make sure I got the experience I was interested in (and guiding me toward things I didn't know about or never would have known about). My guide was personal and clearly a local expert. We expanded my tour based on how much exercise/hiking I wanted, and I got to experience things I never would have on my own (not even close). I'm definitely considering a return visit to do more with this guide, and I'd recommend without hesitation. I'm not normally a guide person, but this experience changed my perception (I did a private tour)

I had an amazing experience visiting the rock-hewn churches of Lalibela. Our guide was absolutely excellent – extremely knowledgeable about the history and traditions, and he shared everything with such passion that it truly brought the place to life. You can tell he genuinely loves what he does, and that made the tour even more special. I highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Lalibela!

Spent 3 days in lalibela. This tour included airport pick up/ drop off and tours of all the major sites in the area. Very informative about local traditions and customs and the culture of the area. Excellent for English speakers too.
