Unforgettable Adventure Under the African Sun
From our first inquiry to our return home, our safari trip to Tanzania in August 2024 was an exceptional experience that left no desires unfulfilled. Organized by a renowned provider of safari travels, this tour offered a perfect blend of adventure, education, and relaxation.
Planning: The personalized planning of our journey was remarkable from the onset. Sundown African Adventures was keen on accommodating our interests and needs. We felt well-advised and cared for at every stage of the preparation. The travel information provided was detailed and comprehensive, preparing us excellently for our adventure.
Accommodations: Throughout our trip, we stayed in various lodges and tent camps, all distinguished by their unique locations, excellent service, and high quality. The tent camps, situated in the midst of the wilderness, offered an authentic safari experience without sacrificing comfort. Falling asleep under the African starlit sky and waking up to the sounds of the wilderness was enchanting each day anew.
Safari Experiences: Our trained and experienced guide, Alex, who spoke excellent English and very good German, led us to Tanzania's most spectacular natural sights. The wildlife in Serengeti, Tarangire National Parks, and the Ngorongoro Crater was overwhelming. We were fortunate to observe the Big Five (lion, leopard, rhinoceros, elephant, and buffalo) in their natural habitat. Also the Great Migration in the North of Tanzania by thousands of Gnus was amazing to observe. Additionally, the safaris provided profound insights into the ecosystems, history, and conservation efforts of the region.
Cultural Encounters: Visits to local communities were undoubtedly among the highlights. These provided us with insights into the lifestyle and culture of the Masai. The respectful and open exchange with the locals was an experience we wouldn't want to miss.
Sustainability and Wilderness Protection: The commitment of our travel provider to sustainability and environmental protection deserves special mention. A portion of the travel costs directly supports wildlife protection projects and local community assistance. It was comforting to know that our journey contributed positively.

Unforgetable Safari
Everything was very well organized.
We made 6 days safari, Tarangire NP , Lake Manyara NP, Serengeti NP and Ngorongoro Crater. We saw so many animals , our guide Alex always knew the best spots. He told us a lot of nature and wildlife in Tansania. The lodges they choose were excellent, we really enjoyed them. So Alex and the team made our safari vacation unforgetable. We will definately come back !!

Fantastic trip with excellent guide
Had a wonderful 5 day safari in Tanzania made special with the support and expertise of our guide Alex. We saw so much incredible flora and fauna, beautiful animals in their natural habitat. Alex was great at teaching us about the animals and some Swahili!
Would highly recommend to anyone wanting an adventure.

If you’re thinking that going on an African Safari will be wonderful, let me share with you that my trip with Sundown African Adventures was seriously 1,000 times more amazing than I had guessed.
We received excellent service from our Guide-Driver, “Alex”.
He was very professional, kind, and always aware of our safety. His extraordinary knowledge of the animals and the environment were remarkable. Alex had a sixth-sense about what the animals were actually thinking.
The lodgings that they chose were all top-notch and the places they took us to were all magnificent.
I’m planning on sending my daughter and son-in-law for their honeymoon on tour with Sundown.
