Cornelius is a dear man who runs this local safari company. He promptly answered MANY questions regarding everything from safety, accommodations & food to Monkey Pox (not a worry). He helped us design a Safari led by the BEST Safari guide in Tanzania - LAURIAN. Laurian became a great friend who never rushed us as we took hundreds of photos, educated us on animals, plants, local customs & accompanied us into a Maasai village (not to be missed). We ate 3 hot meals each day, he arranged a fun 3-hour walking safari (got SO close to giraffes & to stand under the cooling spray of a waterfall), & came up with unexpected surprises along the way. Each day was a great adventure with Elephant Day (imagine 19 elephants playing in the river, having a mud bath), Lion Day we found 7 lions in 1 tree up close! We saw a Mama cheetah with 2 cubs in the Serengeti along with 3-500,000 wildebeest on migration whose sounds lulled us to sleep in our luxury tent camp on platforms. While watching a pair of lions, we saw a line of 20+ zebras trot by, heard a squeal then went to find a male lion eating a freshly caught baby zebra from 10’ away! We saw a beautiful leopard in a tree about the same distance from our open air car - a great way to view, smell & enjoy the varied landscape of Tanzania with a guide dedicated to showing you all aspects of his home. Very good tour operator!
This is the best experience I’ve had in my entire life. No matter where else I travel in the future, I don’t think anything will top the safari!
We were two solo girls traveling and honestly felt a bit unsure at first when booking, since we had no idea which organizations to trust — but everything turned out absolutely perfect. We felt safe and well taken care of from the very beginning, and booking with this organization was 100% the right choice.
It was worth every penny. We wanted the full experience, so we chose to sleep in tents — and I have to say, that part requires some mental strength. It was definitely scary at times, especially since we had never slept out in the wild like that before. But the organization can of course arrange other types of accommodation if you're not comfortable with that.
We are extremely happy with Cornelius, who put together a trip that suited us perfectly, and our guide Mike was amazing — so kind, positive, and incredibly knowledgeable. No matter what question we asked during the safari, whether it was about nature or the animals, he always had an answer.

As a solo female traveller, I was placed in a group tour with 5 other travellers - the 6 of us had different nationalities so I was glad to meet people from all over the world. Excellent Company to plan your trip to Tanzania
Cornelius from Safari Africa United planned the perfect trip for us. We had done four safari's in Africa before so we had a wish list which Cornelius managed to highlight everything we had wanted to do.
We wanted a ten day safari so from the beginning the price was as advertised. We chose a mid-range accommodation and it was perfect from very luxurious lodges to tented camps where you could sit on your deck and watch herds of animals graze past.
The meals served in buffet style offered many choices. The camp staff were amazing singing when we arrived, sometimes for dinner entertainment and always for our departure.
This was the first time we had witnessed the migration across the Mara River. It was a sight and everything we could have hoped for. We were very lucky and saw five crossings.
If we are able ( in our 80's ) to do a sixth trip we would again ask Cornelius from Safari Africa United to plan our trip
Thank you to Cornelius, Safari Africa United staff, the amazing camp staff that took such good care of us - you all. made this a most memorable visit to an amazing country.

Simply AMAZING
Safari Africa United and its great team have made it possible for my brother and I to have the best trip of our lives. We had been wanting to go on a safari for a long time, so we had very high expectations and Cornelius and his team have not let us down, quite the opposite. From the first day, our guide Evance and our driver Zubira became the best adventure companions we could have. With a 100% professional and friendly treatment, they made the 6 days we were on safari fantastic, full of laughter and animals in equal parts.
